BBA Stargame: Departure of Nigerian couple not conspiracy —MNET

M-net, content provider of DStv has dismissed speculations that the departure of Chris and Ola, the Nigerian couple at the ongoing Big Brother Africa (BBA) Stargame was ‘a conspiracy against Nigeria.’
Nigeria’s Ola Bakare and Christian Asekomeh who returned to Nigeria last Tuesday opted out of the show two weeks into the 91-day show on health grounds-after one of them, Ola found out he has high blood pressure.
Speaking with journalists in Lagos last week, the Head Corporate Affairs, Multichoice Nigeria, Segun Fayose noted that there were no conspiracy to deny Nigeria a go at the prize money.
“There is no conspiracy by anybody anybody to shortchange Nigeria. If they stayed on they could win. It is on health on health grounds that Ola decided to leave.”
He added that Multichoice conducted medical checks on the intending housemates before they were selected for the show but no evidence of hypertension was detected in Ola.
