Chat Room: Is Roki Off His Rocker?

The first diary sessions of the season kicked off earlier this morning. The general feeling in the air is positive, as the Housemates haven’t had a lot of negative things to say about one another. There don’t seem to be any serious complaints at the moment, and most of the Housemates are satisfied with one another. However, there is one VIP who seems to be a bit more infamous than anybody else in the Upville house. Roki has already made a name for himself, judging by his behaviour last night. The Zimbabwean musician has found himself in the hot seat, and doesn’t seem to know what the others think about him. DKB and Barbz have described him as weird, wrong, disturbed and scary. Barbz even implied that he’s smoking something and is therefore not in his right mind. Lady May and Roki had a slight misunderstanding last night, but she assures us that they have made peace. The first person to say they like Roki is Lady May, describing him as energetic and talkative. However, she describes his behavior last night as being a clown and comedian. Barbz has given her friend, Lady May, a nickname. Miss May doesn’t like being called “Tjatjarag” (as Barbz calls her) because it makes her sound dangerous. Goldie has also given Lady May a nickname, “Pipperimpi.” She does not like this either, and has made it clear that nobody must call her anything but her real name. Roki claims that the Housemates are being trivial and do not make an effort to converse with each other. While the other Housemates believe that Roki is “high,” Roki thinks the others are all high. Even though he and Lady May had an altercation, Roki thinks that she’s hot and sensual. When asked about his weird ways, Roki spoke out to Big Brother and revealed a more sensitive side to himself. Roki believes that he is misunderstood and feels very intimidated. He says the reason why he seems crazy is because he has a problem with his emotions. All he wants is to be understood and listened to.
